    The MLC Marlins finished 20th at the National Age Championships winning 4 gold, and two silver medals with numerous top ten positions. Marlins swimmers broke a National Age Record and a State record.. >>Read more

     MLC Marlins Long Course Carnival 4th October 2008

    Thank you to all the officials, helpers, swimmers and parents that attended the MLC Open Carnival 4th October. The carnival ran to schedule and provided swimmers with an early summer competition.

    Thank you to John Aitkin and Cherry Smith who refereed the carnival and Pat Troy Swimming NSW. Thank you to the MLC officials and helpers:

    Margot Tiems and Lin Johnson for organising the carnival entries.

    Sunny Fung (Coach and starter), Warren Schafer (Starter), Margot Tiems & Lin Johnson (Recorders), Nancy Leung, Katie Bladon, Susan Rymil and Cameron Marks (Marshals); Ekrem Toprak (Chief Time Keeper); Regina Marks (Refreshments); everyone who helped on the medal desk, all the time keepers including the Corrimal time keepers.

    Te Haumi Maxwell won two individual golds in the 50m Freestyle and 100m Freestyle and two relay golds. Te Haumi broke the 50m Free National record twice and the 100m free record on his way to winning 4 gold. >>Read more

    MLC Marlins club wishes to advise that as a rule, only major meets are monitored for new records.

    Applications for club records at other meets will need to be made by the swimmer or parent and need to be accompanied by the official result (or link to same), and date of birth.

                 STATE OPEN SC  2010        

    The MLC Marlins finished 8th at this weekend’s State Open Championships. Caitlin Sinclair (3rd 50m Back & 100m Butterfly) & Suay Toprak (3rd 400m I.M) won medals competing against all ages and AIS swimmers at the Championships. Te Haumi broke the 15 yrs 50m Freestyle State record and 15yrs 100m Freestyle NSW all comers record. >>Read more

    Two National Champions, 4 Medalists, 7 Finalists, 16 Qualifiers. The MLC Marlins Swim Team had its most successful National Age finishing 11th on the point

                 STATE AGE 2010 4-9 Jan      

    Congratulations to all the competitors at State Age. The MLC Marlins finished 5th on the State Point Score making 58 finals, winning 10 gold, 10 silver and 10 bronze. Te Haumi Maxwell broke the 15 years 100m
    Freestyle all comers record. 16 swimmers & 10 relay teams made finals. >>Read more

     

    Zoggs has renewed its sponsorship deal with the MLC Marlins and the MLC School Aquatic Centre. The sponsorship deal is worth nearly $5000 in free product to the club. Including caps and club joining pack. The MLC Marlins wishes to thank Zoggs for their continued support.

     

    MLC Marlins win Gold. The MLC Marlins Swim team won the highest award issued by Australian Swimming for the second consecutive year. The MLC Marlins won the 2007 Gold club award with the following scores:
